Blog Assignment Week 1 /Revise from the foundation class

My grandmother--- My grandmother was a strong woman. Her work ethic could not be matched by anyone in the family. She taught all her daughters to be strong. My grandmother told all her girls that every woman needs a plot of land to call her own. She was firm in the way she helped raised my brother, cousin and I. We knew without question every Sunday was church day. I knew without fail, I would meet her on the veranda before school in order for her to comb my hair. My hair was always comb the same way every single morning. When combing my hair she would always say “don’t forget to hold your brother hand when walking to school”. I always said “yes”. She would watch my brother and I walk to school holding hands but as soon she turned the corner my brother would let go of my hand and run ahead of me and say “see you at school”.
My Mother---- My mother is the most wonderful woman to ever walk the earth. I love when I’m around her. She taught me to be independent and not be afraid to see the world. I know my mother’s walk and how she touches her face when is happy or sad. When she cooks in the kitchen I'm always one hundred percent sure the pot she is going to use for cooking the rice.
My Aunt---- My aunt is a beautiful woman. Her feet are always firmly placed on the ground. She knows what she wants and she is going to get it. She would often say to me growing up “Georgiana make sure you have a plot of land to call your own”. She said it the same words my grandmother use to say to her.
Jill--------My cousin Jill house was a great house. I miss the smell and the feel of that house. It was a small house in Jamaica with a nice yard. Her mother always had something on the stove. It was a very warm house. I really miss that house.
Leslie-----My Leslie was a great role model to me because as a child I felt he was my very own. He is a very loving man. There were moments he was selfish but I never felt he was selfish with me. He was like a father to me and I truly felt that he cared and wanted the best for me.
These amazing people help to shape my life in so many ways.  I love to travel because mother taught me to be independent. My grandmother influenced me to love nature and also to love every part of my body from my hair to my toes. My aunt words are forever pressing in my mind "Georgiana, make sure you have a plot of land to call your own". Due to these words I can't imagine not owning a plot of land to call my very own. The love that Leslie have for me makes me want to love a man that I feel is truly my own. Family is everything to me. Without these people, I would not be Georgian Angeita Jackson.
