Relationship Reflection

My friends and family are truly wonderful people.  The relationship I have with them allows me to truly understand myself. They have provided me with emotional support and love. The support and love I get from them has made me a more open person. My mother taught me to build healthy and social relationships with individuals in society. The relationship I have with my aunt is just absolutely wonderful. She has a positive influence on me because works very hard for everything she has.  Her strong work ethic has proven to me time and time again that nothing in life is free and you must work hard to get the things you want because the rewards are far more gratifying.  My amazing friends since school days encouraged me to attend graduate school. Their support and love made me want to learn more about education. Our discussions on current issues in the world make me want to study more.
Most of us in this world will go through challenges, and it is comforting that positive people in my life have helped me to face those challenges while maintaining a strong since of self.  Growing into adulthood I have met several people along the way, and I have had and will continue to have many discussions on varying degrees of topics with difference in opinions. These discussions grounded me because they have taught me to have an open mind with the knowledge that I will learn something new and also bring a different view to the conservation. Working in education should involve partnerships with staff and a collaborative work environment. In my personal views educators must rely on each other in order to have a successful school.  Teachers learning pedagogy in the profession will create a professionals work environment while learning from each other.

  1. It is so nice to hear that your aunt inspired you. I too, was inspired by one of my aunts. Your aunt taught you that working hard, is how you get ahead and that is correct! My aunt taught me that education and hardwork is what it takes to "make it"! Isn't it so rewarding!

  2. Your words expressed the support you have and the confidence you have. I am sure that's a part of your emotional support that has provided you with the relationships you built. You've made it with that environment you have and that's so important. Thanks for sharing it.

  3. It's great that you have such amazing friends. I can tell you value their friendship because you speak so highly of them. Continue to build on this form of relationship because "true" friendship is hard to come by.
